Good Old Days...

Sitting in the verandah of our sweet old home...
Our discussions about nail paint and comb.

Going to the market every here and now,
Shopping veggies was just wow!

Playing games in the summer holidays,
Writing those really long-long essays!

Watching movies whole night on the VCR,
Always staying together like a spar!

I am running short of words to define...
The importance of the days left behind!

We used to sail in the same boat...
But in the course of life, we had to float!

Moving ahead in life was a  prerequisite
No matter what, we were destined to meet!

So much I have learned from you...
For which you might not have a clue!

Somewhere deep inside when I recall...
A part inside me breaks down and fall!

Indeed, those were the golden days of our lives...
I am sure, like me, you also miss and memorize!

As ocean can't remain quiet forever, so is the journey of life.
Challenges are all over, be it your personal or professional life.

Love is in the air, can be measured on the principle scale of time.

The school gives us education,
And a long summer & winter vacation.

With eight periods in a single day,
And lots of games on the field to play.

 Every one of us has to work hard,
To get an awesome report card.

Teachers also teach us how to exercise,
For which, we get medals and prize.

Boys and girls here don't scream.
We all work together as a great team.

All school activities are essential,
Which makes us realize our real potential.

We all know, school days have to come to an end,
Thinking of which, we are all saddened.

No matter how much we strive,
School days are the best days to revive.

But, as the last day arrives,
We move ahead with a heavy heart to live our life.
